Elena’s works are famous for looking bright, joyful and refined.
Wearing such boots you will forget about winter frost and think only of the beauty of your footwear.
Felt boots have always been traditional Russian footwear.
It was salvation in harsh winter.
To make them serve longer, the bottom was strengthened with leather.
Later, with use of resin, galoshes appeared -- resin boots worn over felt boots.
Now galoshes can be made transparent, which both protects the footwear and allows people to admire the painting on your felt boots.
Also, any color of galoshes is available now.
On contemporary footwear polyurethane sole is often used.
Moreover, valenki are made narrower than traditionally;
this makes them look elegant and stylish, especially when you have them painted and decorated.
Valenki do not cause any adverse side effects; feet do not sweat in them.
Wearing them improves blood circulation in feet.
Taking care of felt boots is easy- brush or wipe with a damp cloth and store in a plastic bag with moth-proofing agents.
All felt boots are handmade to order with pure sheep wool and painted by Yelena by her own designs.
Please note that new felt boots shrink a little; it is recommended to buy valenki a size bigger.
Traditionally valenki are made the same for each foot; with wear they are shaped to the foot of the owner,
which makes them extremely comfortable.
